Your First Month as a Hair Extension Fitter
A practical plan for the first weeks
The first weeks after a course decide whether the skills stick. A simple plan helps.
Week one: repeat
Practise the full sequence again on a training head: consultation questions, sectioning, fitting and removal. Write down what you forgot.
Week two: tidy your kit
Check that you have everything you need, store it properly and keep a note of what to reorder.
Week three: first supervised work
Work on a friend or family member with a more experienced person watching, if you can. Take photographs with permission.
Week four: review
Look at your photographs and notes. What took too long? What looked uneven? Fix those before taking on paying clients.
Keep learning
Ask us what support is available afterwards. If you are enquiring about the Essex course, put that question in your first message.
Get a date
Message us to ask which Essex date has a place, how to get to the Basildon centre and what to bring.
